Kanto

Kanto is where your journey begins. In Pallet Town, Professor Oak will entrust you with your first Pokémon. Those who gather all eight badges earn the chance to take on the Elite Four at the Indigo Plateau.

Johto

Johto stands as one of the two post-game areas alongside the Sevii Islands. In Version 5.1, players no longer require the Train Pass to access Goldenrod City and its neighboring areas after thwarting Team Rocket at the Silph Co. Head Office in the main story and obtaining a ticket from Saffron City. However, the remainder of the region remains inaccessible until the player conquers the Elite Four. Once the player acquires the Waterfall ability, Tohjo Falls becomes a passage from New Bark Town to the rest of Route 27.

Sevii

The Sevii Islands, alongside Johto, constitute one of the two post-game regions in the game. This archipelago includes Islands 1, 2, 3, and 5, originally featured in Pokémon Fire Red and Leaf Green. However, in contrast to the original games, the islands in this version are interconnected by routes. A new addition, Brine Road, has been introduced to seamlessly connect the islands.
